WHAT WE DO

I am a management consultant with a passion for nonprofits that enrich the lives of people in their community. I position organizations to grow and be better prepared to respond to the changing political climate.

Using my extensive experience in governance and administration, I provide business and governance process reengineering, assess/enhance impact statements, research grant opportunities, train board trustees on their roles and responsibilities, coach Executive Directors, and provide back office administrative services, to help a nonprofit achieve its mission to do good in their community.

Sally Good-Burton

Principal

Sally Good-Burton served in leadership and supporting positions on several Federal governing boards, ensuring they met their responsibilities to plan strategically, set goals, monitor performance, provide adequate resources, and ensure legal and ethical integrity.  Sally served as the Chair of the Local Federal Coordinating Committee for the Chesapeake Bay Area Combined Federal Campaign from April 2012 through June 2014, leading a 10-member board charged with overseeing the collection of over $6 million donated annually by 17,000 Federal employees to over 3,000 non-profit organizations.  Sally reviewed/approved applications from over 1,800 local charities annually applying to participate in the campaign, advised nonprofit board members, and conducted annual compliance reviews of campaign operations.


Sally holds a Bachelors Degree in Psychology from Indiana University, a Master of Public Administration degree with a concentration in analysis and evaluation from the University of Baltimore, a Chief Information Officer Certificate from the National Defense University, and a Certificate in Nonprofit Board Education from BoardSource.  In 2014, Sally retired from Federal service as a Senior Executive with over 30 years of service at four Federal agencies, and began providing management consulting services to small businesses and nonprofits.

Sarah Burton

Consultant

Sarah Burton is a professional actor who utilizes her passion for the performing arts and her experience performing, marketing and teaching youth in theaters in Colorado and Maryland to help small theaters achieve their potential.  Sarah also provides financial bookkeeping assistance, social media marketing and website development services to small businesses.  Sarah holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Musical Theater from Coastal Carolina University.
